Suzuki e-Access: Battery, Motor and Performance

The Suzuki e-Access is powered by a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, which is said to offer a longer service life and better durability by brand compared to conventional battery chemistries. It features an electric motor with 4.1kW output and 15Nm of torque, three riding modes to choose between Eco, Ride A, Ride B, reverse mode and regenerative braking. Suzuki also states that the scooter delivers consistent performance even at low battery charge levels. For safety and handling, the battery is housed in an aluminium casing integrated into the chassis, which is designed to improve structural rigidity and overall stability.
Features and Hardware
On the features front, the Suzuki e-Access comes equipped with:
- Full LED lighting
- Two-tone alloy wheels
- Belt drive system for quieter operation and low maintenance

Price and Rivals
The e-Access was first showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo last year, and its India launch comes nearly a year later. However, its Rs 1.88 lakh price tag places it on the higher side of the segment, especially when compared to rivals like the Ather Rizta and the TVS iQube.

Verdict
The Suzuki e-Access brings brand trust, solid build quality, and a durable LFP battery to the electric scooter space. However, its premium pricing puts it at a disadvantage against feature-rich and more affordable rivals like the Ather Rizta and TVS iQube, making value-conscious buyers think twice.
