Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited has recently announced its sales report for the month of October 2025. Tata Motors registered over 61,295 total sales units, reaching an all-time high. This represents a remarkable 27% year-on-year growth compared to October 2024, underscoring the brand's growing dominance in the domestic and international markets. The festive season has clearly fueled this surge, reflecting strong customer preference and a broad product portfolio.
This outstanding monthly performance is highlighted by record-breaking wholesales for the second consecutive month, with SUVs leading the charge. Tata's electrification efforts are also paying off, as showcased by an impressive 73% year-on-year growth in electric vehicle wholesales, reflecting the accelerating shift toward sustainable mobility.
Business Units/Segments | October 2025 | October 2024 | Growth |
PV Domestic (includes EV) | 61,134 | 48,131 | 27% |

Tata Motors' SUVs achieve a phenomenal 47,000 units sold, capturing a massive 77% share of the total monthly sales. This dominance puts Tata as a leading SUV player, driven by extremely popular models like the Nexon and the Adventure X variants of the Safari. The Nexon alone recorded a staggering 50% year-on-year volume growth, attributable to its versatile multi-powertrain options that continue to attract a broad spectrum of buyers.

Tata Motors achieved an all-time high in electric vehicle wholesales, delivering 9,286 units, showcasing a significant 73% increase over the previous year. This growth is powered by the company's expanding EV portfolio and strong consumer inclination towards electrification. The surge in EV sales illustrates Tata's strategic commitment to future-ready mobility solutions and sets new benchmarks in the Indian electric vehicle market.
Tata Motors witnessed unprecedented momentum during the festive season, with over 100,000 vehicle deliveries between Navratri and Diwali—up 33% year-on-year. Monthly bookings also hit record highs, reflecting robust retail demand across all model ranges and powertrain choices. Additionally, the Harrier and Safari models benefited from the excitement around the Adventure X editions, and the traction gained by the Harrier EV collectively contributed 7,000 units sold in October.
