Tata Motors has unveiled the highly anticipated Curvv, introducing both electric and Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) variants to the Indian market. The ICE version of the Curvv is set to compete directly with popular compact SUVs like the Citroen Basalt, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. Distinguishing itself from the EV model, the Curvv ICE features a functional grille, a redesigned air dam, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The vehicle will be available in four personas: Smart, Pure, Creative, and Accomplished.
The Curvv ICE offers a choice of three engines:
- New 1.2-liter GDi turbocharged petrol (Hyperion): 124 bhp, 225 Nm
- Existing 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol: 119 bhp, 170 Nm
- 1.5-liter Kyrotec diesel: 117 bhp, 260 Nm
All engines come with a 6-speed manual gearbox, while a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCA) is available for both petrol and diesel variants. Notably, the Curvv is the first in its segment to offer a dual-clutch automatic with a diesel engine.

The Curvv flaunts an impressive array of features, including:
- Multiple voice assistants
- Level 2 ADAS
- 360-degree camera
- Digital instrument cluster
- 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system
- JBL speaker system with subwoofer
- Gesture-operated tailgate (segment-first)
Additional features include cruise control, wireless charging, SOS call, rear AC vents, and an air purifier. The Curvv ICE will be available in six color options: Daytona Grey, Pristine White, Flame, Opera Blue, Pure Grey, and Gold Essence.
