From January to April 2026, Toyota Kirloskar Motor achieved a 19 percent increase in total sales. The company sold 1,37,194 units during this period, up from 1,15,157 units in the first four months of 2025.

A significant milestone was reached in April as the Innova HyCross achieved 2 lakh cumulative sales. This milestone highlights the growing acceptance of Toyota's hybrid models in the market.

Production Capacity and Company Structure

Toyota Kirloskar Motor operates as a joint venture. Toyota Motor Corporation holds an 89 percent stake, while Kirloskar Systems Limited owns 11 percent. The company maintains a total installed production capacity of up to 3.42 lakh units annually.

Strong domestic passenger vehicle demand and robust exports have contributed to the company's record-breaking start to the financial year. The automaker also reported a 72 percent surge in electric vehicle dispatches, further supporting monthly performance. Meanwhile, domestic truck demand has helped offset declines in international shipments.
