One of the first few EV scooter brands in India, Ather has gained immense popularity in the Indian 2 wheeler EV market and has built a name for itself since then, with models like Ather 450 and 450X Electric Scooters. The Bengaluru-based EV Company Ather Energy is working on building 1000 fast charging stations for electric two-wheelers in the state of Karnataka to provide fast and cost free charging to EV users.

Ather Energy has signed the MoU deals with the electric supply companies of Bengaluru (ESCOM’s) in the presence of Chief Minister of Bengaluru.The Karnataka Government is providing amazing support to the Ather, and is leading the way to clean & sustainable energy.

Ather Electric Scooters 2022:

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic and rising cases and restrictions in India Ather Energy has shown sales performance in the electric two-wheeler market in the month of Jan 2022. Whereas every major 2 wheeler company in India has reported a drop in sales.Ather battery scooters have shown a growth of 366 % in month-on-month (MoM) sales in comparison to the same month previous year.Ather Energy has ended their starting month of 2022 with 2,825 units sold. That’s a. With their increasing demand in electric scooters, the company is struggling to speed up the supply due to limited chains of supply. The company is slowly expanding its costumer reach in the country with 304 fast Aether charging stations and 29 retail stores.

Upcoming Ather Electric Scooters:

Ather Energy has seen competition hot up in the premium electric scooter market with products like OLA S1 Pro, Simple Energy’s Simple One while mainstream companies like Bajaj and TVS have also taken a dip into this lucrative e scooter market with products like the Bajaj Chetak Electric and the TVS iQube electric scooters.Ather however doesn’t want to give up its advantage and has started developing a sub-1 lakh electric scooter which after taking into account the various state subsidies will be priced on par with the Honda Activa and the TVS Jupiter, two of the most popular ICE scooters in India.
