December 2024 Car launches: Set to hit the Indian roads

New Honda Amaze
Honda is gearing up to launch the new-generation Amaze in India on December 4, 2024. The Honda Amaze introduces a refreshed exterior and revamped interiors, offering modern styling and advanced features. However, the sedan is expected to retain its reliable 1.2-liter petrol engine, This engine will continue to come with a 5-speed manual and CVT automatic transmission options.
The new model is anticipated to be priced slightly higher than the outgoing version, which currently starts at ₹7.19 lakh (ex-showroom). The updates aim to maintain the Amaze's strong appeal in the competitive compact sedan segment.
New Toyota Camry
Toyota will launch its Camry in India on December 11, 2024, likely to feature a refreshed design, upgraded interiors and additional safety tech. The key highlights include dual 12.3-inch displays for the driver and infotainment, a scenic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a heads-up display. The new Camry also offers Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) & Toyota’s safety sense 3.0, adding an inclusivity of modern safety functions.
Powered by a 2.5-liter petrol engine paired with Toyota's fifth-generation hybrid system, the Camry delivers 225 PS for front-wheel drive and 232 PS for all-wheel drive versions. Prices are expected to start at ₹48-49 lakh (ex-showroom), making it a premium option for eco-conscious buyers.
Kia Syros
Kia India is set to unveil the Syros B-SUV on December 19, 2024, marking its global debut. Positioned between the Sonet and Seltos, the Syros will be Kia’s fourth budget-friendly offering for the Indian market, competing with rivals such as the Mahindra XUV 3XO, Tata Nexon, and Maruti Fronx.
The Syros will feature standout elements like vertically stacked three-pod LED headlamps, L-shaped LED DRLs and taillights, flush-fitting door handles, roof rails, and front door-mounted ORVMs. This new model is anticipated to strengthen Kia's footprint in the competitive compact SUV market.
