Kawasaki's new Ninja ZX-4R is now available in India for just ₹8.49 lakh. Get ready to experience the ultimate ride!

Kawasaki has made a grand entry into the Indian market with the launch of the Ninja ZX-4R. This high-performance fully-faired motorcycle is set to dazzle riders with its impressive features. The Ninja ZX-4R comes with a price tag of ₹8.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and is positioned as a premium option between the Ninja 650 and Ninja 400 in Kawasaki's India lineup.
While it's true that this sports bike bears a hefty price due to its completely built unit (CBU) status, it certainly doesn't compromise performance. Kawasaki assures customers that deliveries will kick off in early October, just in time for the festive season.
The Ninja ZX-4R is available in a single variant, dressed in the sleek Metallic Spark Black colour. Like its Kawasaki counterparts, this beauty boasts the DNA of a true racing machine. Kawasaki promises that the Ninja ZX-4R offers a handling experience akin to its larger siblings, the Ninja ZX-10R and Ninja ZX-6R.
Beneath its aggressive exterior lies a mighty 399 cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke in-line four engine, paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring a slipper clutch. This powerhouse churns out a formidable 76 bhp peak power at 14,500 rpm, which can be boosted to an impressive 79 bhp. With 39 Nm of torque at 13,000 rpm, it proudly claims the title of the most powerful model in the 400 cc segment.
The Ninja ZX-4R doesn't just deliver on power; it's also equipped with top-tier features. Fully adjustable front forks and a rear shock absorber handle suspension duties, ensuring a smooth ride. Dual 290 mm front disc brakes and a 220 mm rear disc brake, backed by dual-channel ABS, guarantee exceptional braking performance. The sporty beast rides on 17-inch alloy wheels.
With its sharp and sculpted design, the Ninja ZX-4R is a head-turner. It boasts dual all-LED headlamps and a taillight inspired by the Ninja ZX-10R. Even the turn indicators shine with LED brilliance. Inside, riders are greeted by a fully digital instrument cluster and integrated riding modes—Sport, Road, Rain, or Rider. These modes allow riders to tailor traction control and power settings to match the road conditions.
The arrival of the Ninja ZX-4R promises an exhilarating experience for motorcycle enthusiasts, and it's all set to hit the roads in India soon!
