Mahindra XUV 7XO: Booking and Delivery

Mahindra has begun the test drive consumers have already started to feel the driving experience of the new XUV 700. As for the booking, it is going to start from January 14, 2026, you can book this car from your nearest Mahindra dealership via paying a small booking amount. Moreover, the official date commenced for delivery is also from the same date as booking but for some of these variants only (AX7, AX7T and AX7L).
Price, Variants and Rivals
After the strong market response to the XUV 700 considering its pricing math, Mahindra has kept the XUV 7XO price closer to the previous and competitive compared to its rival. The pricing now starts from 13.66 lakh and goes up to 24.11 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top trim. The brand has offered the 7XO in six different trims consumers can choose from– AX, AX3, AX5, AX7, AX7T, and AX7L. Along with that it comes with 27 configurations across engine, gearbox and seating combination.
The XUV 7XO sits in the midsize SUV category where it directly competes with Tata Harrier, Safari, MG Hector, Jeep Compass and Hyundai Alcazar.
Mahindra XUV 7XO: Updates

Automakers have given multiple upgrades to the Facelift of XUV 700 either the design, styling or interior. In terms of design the SUV now gets a revised grille, updated LED projector headlamps and a reworked bumper with a large air intake and a more prominent skid plate finished in silver, giving it a tougher, sharp and modern appearance. Moreover, changes that are visible from the sides include– blacked-out ORVMs, gloss black body cladding and newly designed 19-inch alloy wheels. ,Meanwhile the rear now features refreshed LED tail-lamps with new detailing and a redesigned bumper finished with gloss black elements.

Once stepped inside the XUV 7XO you will notice a completely new dashboard layout, a redesigned steering wheel and a lighter beige-tan cabin theme. On the features front, the SUV adds premium touches such as a panoramic sunroof, powered front seats, ambient lighting, dual wireless chargers and ventilated seats for both front and rear passengers. Safety has also been enhanced with Level 2 ADAS, multiple airbags, electronic stability control, a 540-degree camera and parking assistance systems.
Engine and Powertrains

Powering the XUV 7XO is a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engine, both available with 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox. The 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine can generate up to 203 PS and 380 Nm of torque and the other 2.2-litre diesel engine puts up 185 PS and 450 Nm of torque. Additionally the diesel option is also available with all-wheel drive option. If you want some extra power and occasional off-road driven option you can opt for the all-wheel drive setup.
