Maruti Suzuki reaffirms its position as the best-selling car manufacturer in India

Maruti Suzuki leads the list for the best-selling cars in India in June 2021

● With eight car models in the top 10 best-selling cars list in June 2021 in India, Maruti Suzuki reigns at the top.● Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, Maruti Suzuki Swift, and Maruti Suzuki Baleno are the top three cars on the list.● Two Hyundai models, the Hyundai Creta and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, complete the top 10 list.

Besides being the largest car manufacturer in India, Maruti Suzuki leads the list in sales volume, too, with eight of the top ten best-selling cars in June 2021 manufactured by it. The top three positions go to Wagon R, Swift, and Baleno.Maruti Suzuki Wagon R has sold 19,447 units in June 2021, with Swift occupying the second spot at 17,727 units, followed by Baleno, which has sold 14,701 units. While the Swift is the top-selling hatchback this month, the Hyundai i20 is not far behind.

Maruti Suzuki occupies the fourth to the sixth spots, as well, with Vitara Brezza and Dzire, followed by the Alto. Finally, Hyundai breaks the stranglehold with the Hyundai Creta occupying the seventh spot. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Eco follow immediately for the eighth and ninth spots, with the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios completing the list.Here is the entire list for your easy reference.

Compared to June 2020, the June 2021 figures are encouraging for all the above models. Moreover, the figures are growing even in the MoM sales in June 2021 over May.
