Finally Tata Punch surpassed Maruti Cars in Monthly Sales | March 2024 Sales Data

For a long time Maruti Cars were on top of the chart always but in the last few months one car was climbing up the ladder consistently. Tata Motors emerges as the frontrunner with its SUV model "Punch," securing the top spot in sales. Well it shows Maruti can no longer be the reigning champ in the market as there is new competition arising on a daily basis. Indian Customers are preferring SUVs more.

The latest sales figures provide insights into the changing preferences of consumers, with SUVs dominating the market.

• Tata Nexon: Following closely, Tata's "Nexon" records 14,058 units sold, experiencing a slight 5% decrease in sales compared to March 2023.

• Hyundai Creta: Hyundai's "Creta" secures a strong position with 16,458 units sold, showcasing a commendable 17% year-on-year growth.
• Hyundai Venue: The "Venue" model experiences a minor 4% decline in sales, with 9,614 units sold.
