At EICMA 2022, Royal Enfield unveiled the Super Meteor 650, their newest motorbike. At the Rider Mania festival in Goa, the new RE Super Meteor 650 has finally been unveiled to the Indian public. In reality, RE has declared that registered Rider Mania participants are the only ones who may make Super Meteor 650 pre-launch reservations at this time. In January 2023, the cost of the new Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 will be made public.

Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 Detailed Specs & Features

The new motorbike is the third 650cc-based Royal Enfield, but it boasts a new chassis and a number of firsts for RE. The Continental GT 650 and the RE Interceptor 650 are currently supported by this platform. Along with the 650cc Super Meteor, RE is also putting a 650cc Classic and a brand-new 650cc Scrambler through their paces in India.

The Showa USD front fork, full-LED headlight kit, and Tripper Navigation system are standard on the new RE Super Meteor 650. The motorbike is propelled by a 648cc, air and oil-cooled parallel twin engine that generates 52Nm of torque at 5,650rpm and 47bhp of power at 7,250rpm. According to claims, the new cruiser has custom mapping and gearing, and its 80% peak torque is available at 2,500 rpm. The bike has 320mm front and 300mm rear discs for braking, with dual-channel anti-lock braking system providing additional assistance.

The new RE Super Meteor 650 boasts forward-set footpegs and a low seat height of 740mm. The motorbike weighs 241kg at the curb. The cruiser sports a 15.7-litre gasoline tank and a 135mm-low ground clearance. There will be two versions available: Standard and Tourer. There will be a total of 7 color choices for the motorbike. Five color options—Astral Black, Astral Blue, Astral Green, Interstellar Grey, and Interstellar Green—will be available for the standard version. The Tourer will be available in Celestial Red and Celestial Blue, respectively.
