Engine and Performance

The Curvv will be available in both ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) and EV (Electric Vehicle) versions. The ICE version will share its powertrains with the Nexon:

• 1.2L 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine (125 PS, 225 Nm, available later)

The Curvv EV will be based on Tata's new Acti.ev platform, featuring a battery size of around 50 kWh, promising approximately 500 km of range on a single charge. The Acti.ev platform supports a dual-motor AWD layout, but this is less likely to be included in the Curvv EV.

When launched, the Tata Curvv will compete with popular models like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Honda Elevate, MG Astor, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, and Citroen C3 Aircross.
