This year-on-year growth underscores the brand's expanding market presence and robust consumer trust. Additionally, month-on-month growth surged by 38% compared to September 2025’s sales volume of 31,091 units, underlining the brand's strengthened foothold during the key festive period.

Festive Edition Models Drive Customer Excitement

That recent sales surge in October 2025 was aligned with the latest launch of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Edition and the all-new 2025 Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition. Both these models were launched during the festive season. These exclusive festive edition cars offer distinctive styling and premium features that resonate with aspirational customers. Both models are currently available for booking and delivery across authorized Toyota dealerships nationwide, enhancing market demand and customer engagement.

Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President of Sales & Services, said, “Our growth stands as a testament to the seamless synergies across our operations and the unwavering commitment to customer-centricity. The recently introduced festive editions of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Edition and the 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition have received tremendous appreciation for their unique styling and premium value proposition.”

Later, he also added, “These models are available for booking and delivery across authorized dealerships. Our collaboration with Drum Tao has further heightened customer excitement and engagement.”

Expanding Footprint in Used Car Segment

In a strategic move to strengthen its presence in the pre-owned car market, Toyota Motors inaugurated a new used car outlet in Chandigarh in October 2025. This addition aligns with the company’s broader strategy of catering to diverse customer needs and expanding its footprint beyond new car sales.

Production and Capacity Overview

Toyota Kirloskar Motor operates two manufacturing plants in Bidadi, Karnataka. The first plant focuses on models like Innova HyCross, Innova Crysta, Fortuner, and Legender, with an installed capacity of 132,000 units. The second plant produces the Camry Hybrid, Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and Hilux, equipped with a capacity of 210,000 units.

With a combined production capacity of up to 342,000 units, the facilities are well-positioned to support the brand’s growing demand.
