Suzuki Burgman Electric

Latest Update: Suzuki is preparing to enter India’s electric scooter market with its all-new Burgman Electric. It will be the electric version of its Suzuki Burgman Street 125 petrol-powered scooter. The official images shared by the two-wheeler manufacturer look similar to its ICE counterpart and it has been spotted several times being tested in India. 

Suzuki Burgman Electric is claimed to have almost identical design to its petrol-powered sibling. The electric scooter will get a long tail section and bulbous front apron. There would be a dual-tone scheme of white and blue, making it one of the differentiator factors from its ICE-powered counterpart. 

While the core specifications are unknown, the Suzuki electric scooter will have a swappable battery instead of a fixed battery pack. Sources claim that the lithium-ion battery unit fitted in the Burgman Electric will enable it to deliver a 60-80 km range on a single charge.

There will also be tech features like Bluetooth connectivity. It's expected that the upcoming Burgman Electric will be able to produce 4kW of power output and 18 Nm of torque while it will be fitted with an AC synchronous electric motor. 

The scooter will measure 1825 mm in length, 765 mm in width, and 1140 mm in height, while the seat height will be 780 mm, and the curb weight will be 147 kg. It's important to note that Suzuki has yet to officially reveal the key specifications of the Suzuki Burgman Electric scooter. Therefore, we will have to wait for further updates that may occur in the coming weeks. 

Price

Suzuki Burgman Electric is anticipated to be priced between Rs 1,05,000 and Rs 1,20,000. It may launch in India between July 2025 to September 2025.
