Three different powertrains are offered for the MG Hector Plus: a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine, a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine with a hybrid system, and a 2.0-liter diesel engine. The diesel engine can produce 168 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, compared to the petrol engine's 141 bhp and 250 Nm. The 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine is mated to a DCT and CVT unit, while the diesel engine and petrol hybrid engine are only available with a six-speed manual transmission.

There are four trim levels available for the MG Hector Plus: Style, Super, Smart, Sharp, and Select. Six colors, including Candy White, Glaze Red, Starry Black, Burgundy Red, Aurora Silver, and Starry Sky Blue are available for customers to select from.

The MG Hector Plus has a panoramic sunroof, a 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a chrome front grille, a 360-degree camera, six airbags, an electric parking brake, powered tailgate with smart-swipe functionality, captain seats for the second row with slide and recline function, eight-color ambient lighting, and seats that can be adjusted in four different ways and in six different ways for the driver.

Fantastic hector

Once I was going solo trip to Agra. I got stranded on Agra Lucknow expressway. I waited for almost an hour. Then I got lift from a man, who was going to New Delhi. Then I came to know about Mg hector plus. The Hector comes with a host of segment-first safety features including emergency call, vehicle collision alarm, 360 degree camera, AI-based voice commands and many more. Overall mg hector is worth it.
