What could have been better?

Due to the sloping roofline and a small rear window.
Offers only 413 litres of storage, further reduced by the spare tyre.
Priced at 61 Lakh for the top-end model, making it more expensive than some competitors like the Audi Q4 e-tron and Tesla Model Y.
Offers a driving range of 342 miles on a single charge, less than some rivals like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6.
Lacks amenities expected in a luxury vehicle, such as wireless Apple CarPlay, panoramic sunroof, head-up display, and ventilated seats.

Engine & Range

The C40 Recharge shares the powertrain with its sibling, the XC40 Recharge. Both of them have a dual-motor configuration from Volvo that produces 408PS and 660Nm. Even though the C40 Recharge receives the same 78kWh battery pack, its claimed range according to WLTP is 420km (+2km).

Exterior Design

From the front, the car resembles the XC40 Recharge in terms of appearance. However, in profile, it is simple to distinguish between the two because the C40 has a sloping roofline. It has a completely new look for the rear, which includes a small spoiler and taillights that are not identical to those on the XC40 Recharge.

Interior & Features

The dashboard of the car is set out similarly to the XC40's. Additionally, the C40 Recharge is the first Volvo model without leather upholstery. The exclusion was a part of Volvo's goal to eliminate leather from its vehicles by 2025 in order to lessen the suffering of animals and carbon emissions.
