Latest Update: Mahindra has released the first teaser of the soon to launch XUV 3XO. With the announcement of the XUV 3XO name, Mahindra has rebranded and renamed the XUV300. The XUV 3XO is basically XUV300 Facelift with a new name & brand identity.

Exterior & Design
Mahindra has been testing the XUV 3XO for a long time now and based on the spy images/videos of its test mules, it is highly likely to get a connected LED tail lamp setup in the rear. The front connected light setup is yet not confirmed. Moreover, the side profile of the sub 4 meter SUV is likely to remain more or less identical to the current model. But, the alloys are confirmed to get a new design.
Interior & Features
The interior of the on-sale model of XUV300 looks a bit outdated, and hence the new facelifted model will most likely come with an updated dashboard design and upgraded equipment list. The XUV 3XO may include new features like front ventilated seats, wireless smartphone charger, wireless android auto/apple carplay, 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment, 10.25 inch drivers display, AdrenoX connected vehicle tech, etc.
Engine & Transmission
On the powertrain front, the XUV 3XO is likely to continue with the 3 engine options that are currently available in the XUV300. These powertrain options are a 1.2 litre turbo petrol, a 1.2 litre T-GDi petrol and a 1.5 litre CRDi turbo diesel.
On the transmission front, Mahindra will likely continue to offer a 6 speed manual and a 6 speed AMT auto gearbox option. However, the interesting addition is likely to be the optional 6 speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The AT gearbox is most likely to be the one from Scorpio-N or XUV700.
Segment & Rivals
Upon launch, it will rival the likes of compact SUVs like Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Brezza, Maruti NEXA Fronx, Tata Punch, Hyundai Exter, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor.
Expected Launch & Price
Mahindra is likely to price the new XUV 3XO extremely competitively. We expect it to be priced between Rs 8.5 Lakh to Rs 15 Lakh (ex-showroom).
The launch of the new XUV 3XO is scheduled for 29th of April. Moreover, the deliveries of the compact SUV will likely begin by May month.
