Together with the sharper radiator cowls, the new 15-litre fuel tank has integrated side panels with an angular shape. A new colour-coded belly pan for the RS is additionally available for the R as an accessory option. The new Street Triple's rear end features a dynamic, upswept shape for a concentrated, nose-down appearance. The RS has an interchangeable pillion seat and a colour-coded seat cowl.
A 6-speed transmission with a bi-directional quick shifter, a new free-flowing exhaust, and a recognisable soundtrack are included. The RS's engine now produces 128 horsepower at 12,000 rpm, 6 bhp more than before, and 80 Nm at 9,500 rpm, which is the engine's maximum torque output.
