Actor Anil Kapoor Buys New Mercedes Maybach S580 Worth Rs. 2.69 Crore

The festive season around Diwali is regarded as one of the auspicious times to buy new vehicles, and the same trend can also be noticed in Bollywood. Bollywood actors like Shraddha Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, and Rakul Preet have already brought one of the flagship luxury cars in the last few weeks. Actor Anil Kapoor has recently joined the list by purchasing a new Mercedes Maybach S580.

Anil Kapoor bought a Mercedes-Maybach S580 in Emerald Green finish with an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.69 crore. Opting for additional options, the price of this luxury sedan from Mercedes-Benz can reach Rs 3 crore. Mercedes-Benz’s luxury sedan car has a 4-liter twin-turbo mild-hybrid V8 engine that makes up 496 HP of power output and 700 Nm of peak torque.

Mercedes-Benz claims that the Maybach S580 can accelerate 0-100 kmph in 4.7 seconds, a great start for a full-size luxury saloon weighing around 2.4 tonnes. The buyers can select from a standard five-seat setup or an optional four-seat layout with a fixed center console in the middle part of the rear. This Mercedes car has a 9-speed automatic transmission to power all four wheels with a 4MATIC all-wheel drive system.

Some standard features in the Mercedes Maybach S580 include heated powered front and rear seats with memory, massage function, and heading and ventilation. The car boasts 64-color ambient lighting, Mercedes connect service, and a remote start function. The interior also features Nappa leather upholstery, seamless door handles, soft close doors, four-zone auto climate control, and rear-side sunshades.

For safety, Mercedes-Benz has offered Level 2 autonomous driving with evasive steering and active brake assist. This luxury Mercedes sedan has 13 airbags, including two belts and rear airbags. There is also optional rear-axle steering and an automated air suspension feature. Along with the newly purchased Maybach S580, Anil Kapoor has a Toyota Vellfire MPV, Mercedes-Benz GL5, Volvo XC90, BMW 5 Series, Range Rover Sport, and Tata Safari.

On the work side, the 66-year-old Hollywood actor will be seen in “Animal,” set to release in a few weeks, and “Fighter,” which will be released in 2024.
