Citroën C5 2022 to be launched in India Tomorrow: Price & Details Inside!!

Citroen is all set to launch the Citroen C5 Aircross 2022 in India on September 7, 2022. The car has been given some tweaks and here we are telling you what we know so far.

With the C5 Aircross, Citroen made its debut in India in 2021. They introduced the C3 tiny car earlier this year to compete with brands like Tata Punch. The updated C5 Aircross, which debuted last year, is now being prepared for release. The model will stay current and competitive in a market that has seen remarkable growth in this area thanks to these mid-life modifications.

What's New in Citroen C5 Aircross 2022?

An entirely new front for the C5 Aircross replaces its previous counterpart. Split headlamps are provided for the current C5 Aircross, however, these will be replaced with single-piece versions for the facelift. The improvements will also include LED technology and twin-line daytime running lights. The front bumper has been redesigned and has a vertical air intake. New LED tail lamp graphics will be seen at the rear, while other updated features include 18-inch alloy wheels, gloss black mirror caps, matte black roof rails, and a refreshed Citroen emblem.

2022 Citroen C5 Aircross Engine Specs

The 2022 C5 Aircross facelift, which has been introduced in Europe, inherits a combination of gasoline, diesel, and plug-in hybrid powertrains from its outgoing model. A PureTech 180 S&S petrol engine and 3.2 kWh battery pack make up the hybrid powertrain.

According to the WLTP driving range, it will have a combined output of 222 horsepower and an all-electric range of 55 kilometers. The 1.6 liter, 4-cylinder petrol engine has a turbocharger and produces 121 kW of power and 240 Nm of torque. It drives the front wheels through a 6-speed automated transmission.

There are two Feel and Shine trim variants of the current C5 Aircross available for purchase in India. The Feel version costs Rs 32,23,900, while the Dual Tone version costs Rs 32,73,900. The most expensive Shine trim costs Rs 33,78,400. Prices are all ex-sh. The same 2.0 liter diesel engine and automatic torque converter are included in all models. The cost of the redesigned Citroen C5 Aircross will increase. In India, it will compete against the recently released Hyundai Tucson.
