Lectrix EV to launch its premium e-scooter with 100+ battery range!

Lectrix EV, the e-mobility arm of SAR Group is preparing to launch its premium & flagship electric scooter. We have discovered that the company will reveal its debut e-mobility offering this month and will open bookings from July 22.

Design and features

The Lectrix new electric scooter will be a feature-rich offering that will compete in the premium segment of 1-1.5 lakh (ex-showroom). The spy shots of the camouflaged test mule reveal little about the design.

The LED DRLs and LED headlamp. The e-scooter seems to be designed for family use, which should attract a large number of customers. The Lectrix EV will also offer several segment-first features and a lot of technology, such as emergency assist, smart ignition, auto-cancelling indicators, navigation, Bluetooth connectivity and more.

Battery and performance

The Lectrix electric scooter will be backed by the SAR Group’s expertise in batteries and battery management systems (BMS), which comes from its sister companies like Livguard and Mooving. The company claims that it has tested the e-scooter for over 1.25 lakh km across technical and real-world tests and has received approvals from iCAT.

The specifications of the Lectrix new e-scooter is yet to be revealed but it is expected to offer a range of over 100 km on a single charge. The BMS of the e-scooter will also optimize thermal performance and reduce the speed automatically when the battery temperature rises.

Competition and launch

The Lectrix EV will enter the e-mobility market with a premium electric scooter that will rival products from Ather Energy, Vida, Ola Electric and others. More details on the price and availability of the e-scooter will be announced by the end of this month.
