Maruti Suzuki S-Presso Launched in India, Prices start from Rs. 5.90 Lakh

Maruti Suzuki has launched the new CNG variant of S-Presso in the Indian market. The S-Presso CNG price in India starts from Rs 5.90 lakh and reaches up to Rs 6.10 lakh.

Maruti Suzuki has introduced the new CNG version of the S-Presso in India. It is available in two variants: LXi S-CNG and VXi S-CNG, with prices starting at Rs 5.90 lakh and Rs 6.10 lakh, respectively. It is the tenth Maruti Suzuki product in our market to provide a CNG option from the company.

In CNG mode, the new Maruti S-Presso CNG is powered by a 1.0-liter Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine that delivers 56.69PS at 5,300rpm and 82.1Nm at 3,400rpm. A 5-speed manual gearbox transmits power to the front wheels. It is said to have a fuel economy of 32.73 km/kg.

Mr.Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, stated of the new S-Presso S-CNG, "The SUV-inspired design of the S-Presso has guaranteed that it has found many takers for its conspicuous road presence." The S-CNG version will build on the success of the popular S-Presso, of which over 2.26 lakh units have been sold. Customers will be wowed by the S-Presso S-exceptional CNG's fuel efficiency and performance. We now have ten S-CNG models in our range, all of which are intended to lower ownership costs and increase our commitment to a cleaner, greener environment."

Maruti Suzuki states that the S-Presso CNG's suspension arrangement has been matched to the new powerplant to improve ride quality, comfort, and safety. The S-Presso CNG is approximately Rs. 95,000 more expensive than the standard model.
