Toyota has recently launched the all-new Camry Sprint Edition in India. The all-new variant is released with an introductory price of Rs 48.50 Lakh (ex-showroom), with a dealer-level accessory kit. The brand has positioned the Camry as a luxury sedan that blends sophistication, enhanced hybrid technology, and Toyota’s legendary reliability. The new sprint edition features all-new dual-tone color with much more sporty appeal than before.

With the latest dealer-level accessory kit, the Camry gets refined looks and marvelous engineering. Despite having an extra premium package, the car did not even come close to matching the Camry's standard Elegance variant, but both models have the same price. Let’s check out the details of the new Camry and what it offers to Indian customers in such a price bracket.

Upgraded Design Enhancements

Visually, the car comes with an all-new dual-tone color scheme with a matte black finish. This matte black finish can be seen on the boot, front bonnet, and roof. A sporty front fascia that offers sleek LED headlamps, bold alloy wheels, and rich aerodynamic proportions. With a dealer-level sport accessory kit, the car exterior can be made more sporty and angular.

The additional sporty kit tweaks the front and rear bumpers with racing DNA extensions. The brand also provides a rear spoiler and 18-inch matte black alloy wheels, enhancing its sporty vehicle dynamics. In the latest Sprint Edition, the car comes in 5 dual-tone color options: Emotional Red & Matte Black, Platinum White Pearl & Matte Black, Cement Grey & Matte Black, Precious Metal & Matte Black, and Dark Blue Metallic & Matte Black.

Toyota Camry Sprint Edition: Sporty Cabin

Toyota has focused more on spacious comfort and sporty craftsmanship inside the cabin. You might see the allure of premium upholstery with soft-touch surfaces and extended legroom to make you feel more comfortable. The cockpit boasts a 12.3-inch infotainment system and a fully digital instrument cluster. To feel the essence of pure music while driving, the brand wrapped the interiors with a 9-speaker JBL audio setup.

With the dealer-racer accessory kit, the interior gets additional accents; with this kit, the car gets ambient lighting inside the cabin and puddle lamps. Rear passenger comfort has also received special attention, making the Camry an ideal chauffeur-driven choice.

Engine Specs

The new  Toyota Camry arrives with Toyota’s self-charging hybrid powertrain, pairing a responsive petrol engine with an advanced electric motor. The Sprint Edition is powered by a 2.5L hybrid petrol engine that generates 230 HP of power and 220 Nm of maximum torque. This engine comes with an advanced eCVT gearbox that delivers powerful acceleration while keeping emissions and fuel consumption low.

The brand claims that with the new generation hybrid powertrain, the Camry can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 7.2 seconds. Additionally, the vehicle may achieve a claimed mileage of roughly 25.4 kmpl, which could rank among the highest of any sporty sedan in India.

Enhanced Features

The all-new sporty sedan gets a host of exterior aesthetics, but from the inside, it always stands as a benchmark in terms of providing luxury, comfort, and reliability. With racing-inspired cockpit dynamics, the car also features three-zone climatic control, a heads-up display, an electric sunroof, front ventilated seats, and the latest ADAS Level 2 setup.

In terms of safety, the latest iteration continues this legacy. Toyota’s comprehensive safety package includes multiple airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.

Conclusion

The all-new Camry Sprint Edition is a refreshed version of its predecessors. Launched at Rs 48.50 lakh, you may find a better option, but the Toyota Camry is the only one that offers sporty driving, an enhanced, powerful engine, fuel efficiency, and dependability all in one package. The premium sporty sedan will be the ideal choice for businessmen and young entrepreneurs who are looking beyond conventional luxury drives.
