TVS has been a popular brand in India for decades, and its low cc bikes have contributed significantly to its success. The company's low cc bikes, such as the TVS Sport and TVS Star City Plus, have been highly popular among Indian customers due to their affordability, fuel efficiency, and ease of use.

TVS Raider: New Variant

TVS Raider launched a single seat variant priced at 93,719

TVS has introduced a new single-piece trim for the Raider, discontinuing the drum brake version to become the new entry-level specification. The split-seat model is priced at Rs 94,719, while the Smart-Xonnect variant with Bluetooth connectivity comes at a higher cost of Rs 1 lakh. Although mechanically identical to other trims, the entry-level Raider features a 124.8cc, single-cylinder engine producing 11.4hp and 11.2Nm. The motorcycle uses a single downtube frame and a telescopic fork and monoshock for suspension. A 240mm disc and a 130mm drum handle braking responsibilities on the front and rear wheels, respectively.
It's worth noting that the new single-piece seat trim offers greater comfort, making it a popular choice for customers seeking an enhanced riding experience. Additionally, the 240mm front disc brake ensures a more robust stopping power, which is a critical safety feature while navigating India's congested city traffic. With these features, the new TVS Raider single-piece trim is expected to attract more customers, particularly those seeking an affordable yet comfortable and safe bike for their daily commuting needs.
