Nissan Terra Highlights
As a part of Nissan’s new SUV-centric strategy, Terra is a relatively new entry in the company’s lineup and might come to Indian market as an innovative and luxury SUV vehicle. In order to meet the need of the Indian off roader, the Nissan Terra will be an AWD based on the wagon platform. The Nissan Terra’s exterior will host LED daytime running lights at the front and LED taillights at the rear. The SUV is expected to receive 18-inch alloy wheels with 225/60R18 Bridgestone Dueler tyres for a perfect rugged stance. The SUV will boast of the finest-in-the-segment wheelbase, measuring 2850 mm which is unbelievable. Talking about the Nissan Terra inside cabin, it has convenience of brilliant seating luxury and will offer a decent vision with ample adjustability elements. The seats of the car will be composed of well-furnished leather material. There will be a provision for an app which will be precise and responsive, and the touchscreen infotainment system will feature Android auto and Apple CarPlay. The second-row seats will be able to tumble down, and there will be AC vents present both at the roof and the rear end of the middle console, and a roof-mounted control facility for fan speed and temperature. The upcoming Nissan Terra specifications will have a powerful 4-cylinder 2.5-L turbocharged diesel engine which will produce maximum strength of 18 bhp and peak torque of 450 Nm for excellent customer experience. The engine will come coupled to a seven-speed AMT. The mileage specifications of the upcoming Nissan Terra are not ascertained by the company and will be announced at the time of launch. The safety features in the Nissan Terra will include a smart rear-view mirror, rear-view camera, hill-start assist, intelligent around-view monitor, hill-descent control, electronic locking rear diff, moving object detection for parking and blind-spot monitoring. The braking functionality of the Terra will be handled by the disc brakes in the front and rear. For this awesome off-roading capability of this SUV, the credits will go to the rear diff lock, a ground clearance of 225 mm, low-range gearing, 26-degree departure angles and 32.3 approach. The upcoming Nissan Terra will clearly compete with luxury and expensive SUVs like Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and Mercedez Benz X-Class.
