The 2023 Honda City will go on sale in India starting next month, according to Honda Cars. The mid-size vehicle will get new features and visual upgrades.

In preparation for its maiden introduction of the year 2023, Honda Cars India. The City mid-size car will soon receive a mid-life update from the manufacturer.

The most popular Honda model in India will receive some small visual improvements, additional capabilities, and a modified variant lineup. Here is all the information you require regarding the impending 2023 Honda City facelift.

What new you will be in the 2023 Honda City Facelift?

In India, the fifth-generation Honda City debuted in July 2020. It will get new alloy wheels and updated front and back bumpers as part of a mid-life facelift.

On the inside, it might have brand-new ventilated seats, a wireless charger, and other luxuries. The City's variation lineup will also be updated by Honda, and its capable hybrid drivetrain will now be available in a variety of trim levels.

Engine and Performance

The new City will function in a mechanically identical manner to the current design. It will not, however, receive a diesel mill. A 1.5-litre petrol engine with 119 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque will power the 2023 Honda City. It will be mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and a CVT.

Additionally, it will have a 1.5-litre Atkinson cycle petrol hybrid engine with two electric motors. It produces 124 bhp of combined power and 253 Nm of maximum torque.

Price and rivals

In India, the 2023 Honda City facelift is anticipated to debut in March of this year. The City is currently available in normal and hybrid versions, with prices ranging from Rs 11.87 lakh to Rs 15.62 lakh, ex-showroom.

The next facelifted model is anticipated to cost a small premium over the going rate. It will compete with vehicles like the Skoda Slavia, Hyundai Verna, and others.
