Jeep Grand Cherokee Prices Increase by Rs. 1 Lakh: What You Need to Know

Jeep India has increased the prices of its flagship SUV, the Grand Cherokee, which was introduced in November of the previous year. The company has raised the price by Rs. 1 lakh, bringing the new ex-showroom price to Rs. 78.50 lakh.

The Grand Cherokee has a distinct family appearance with a front grille consisting of seven boxes and a bonnet resembling a clamshell. It comes with 20-inch alloy wheels and is designed to accommodate up to five passengers. The SUV also features a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster located at the centre. Additionally, it has a panoramic sunroof for added comfort.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee is equipped with a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that delivers a maximum power output of 268bhp and peak torque of 400Nm. The engine is paired with an eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission, featuring paddle shifters, which distribute power to all four wheels of the SUV.

Jeep Meridian and Jeep Wrangler latest prices

In January 2023, Jeep increased the ex-showroom prices of two other models in addition to the Grand Cherokee. The Jeep Wrangler and Meridian saw a rise in their prices, with the former experiencing a significant hike of Rs. 1.20 lakh, and the latter becoming more expensive by Rs. 20,000 across all variants. As a result, the starting price for the Wrangler and Meridian now stands at Rs. 59.05 lakh and Rs. 30.10 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.
