Jeep launches new Meridian X & Upland Special Editions with a price tag of 33.41 lakh onwards

Jeep India has announced the launch of the Meridian X and Upland Special Editions for the 2023 model year, offering automotive enthusiasts in the country an exclusive opportunity to own a limited-edition vehicle. The Meridian X and Upland Special Editions will be available at a starting price of Rs. 33.41 lakh, with the top-spec version priced at Rs. 38.47 lakh, all prices being ex-showroom India. It's worth noting that the final pricing will vary depending on the custom accessories chosen by the buyer.

In response to customer demand, the Meridian special edition vehicles will receive unique styling enhancements and equipment upgrades. The special edition models will also be available in two new colours, Silvery Moon and Galaxy Blue.

The Jeep Meridian X and Upland Special Editions are aimed at different segments of customers. The Meridian X is designed for urban customers with a more lifestyle-oriented outlook. The special edition offering features body-coloured lowers, a grey roof, alloy wheels, and grey pockets. Additionally, exterior enhancements such as side moulding, puddle lamps, and ambient lighting further elevate the vehicle's aesthetics.

The Jeep Meridian Upland Special Edition has set its sights on thrill-seeking outdoors enthusiasts, seeking adventure at every turn. This variant has received a slew of upgrades, including a roof carrier, side steps, splash guards, a boot organiser, sunshades, cargo mats, a tyre inflator, and a specially crafted hood decal.

The rear entertainment package equipped with an 11.6-inch screen, Wi-Fi enabled, is exclusive to the Jeep Meridian Special Edition offerings. The screen's content will be available at a 50 per cent discount, adding to the appeal of these vehicles.

Nipun J Mahajan, Head of Jeep brand India, expressed his excitement regarding the launch of the Jeep Meridian Special Editions, showcasing the SUV's versatility through distinct styling. The new Special Editions take the Jeep Meridian to new heights, with a unique appearance that stands out both on and off-road. The additional equipment in these special editions makes them distinctive and appealing to a broader customer base.

The Meridian continues to draw power from the 2.0-litre diesel engine that can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic gearbox. The Limited and Limited (O) variants offer both transmission choices, while the top trims also get 4x4 capability. The SUV can hit 100 kmph from a standstill in 10.8 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 198 kmph, according to Jeep.

Jeep also offers three years of comprehensive warranty, express service packages that start from 90 minutes, and the Jeep Courtesy Edge and customer contract programs for a hassle-free ownership experience. The bookings for the new Jeep Meridian X and Upland Special Editions have commenced at the dealerships.
