Kia Seltos to Get iMT transmission with more updates

Kia Seltos will be receiving its mid-life update on 27th of April. This popular SUV will be getting a new transmission option along with several minor and major changes. Not just this, Seltos will also get a range topping variant above GTX+.Kia Seltos was introduced in 2019 and since then, it has been a huge success for the South Korean brand. Kia Seltos was originally offered in 18 variants consisting of 3 engine options and 4 transmission options. Kia is all set to introduce one more transmission option in its petrol engine lineage. The iMT transmission is an automatic clutch manual gear shift transmission. It gives you ease of driving in traffic conditions while keeping your enthusiasm intact on the highways. This new transmission will be introduced in 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.4-litre turbo petrol engines. Kia has already introduced this transmission in Sonet turbo petrol and this is the first time Kia is introducing this transmission with a naturally aspirated engine. Along with this new transmission, a panoramic sunroof will also be offered in GT-line variants to compete with its sister brand’s popular SUV Hyundai Creta. Seltos will also get a new range topping Gravity edition which will get some new features including a new grille and 18 inch alloy wheels among others. Kia has recently unveiled its new logo and Seltos will be the first one to get this. The updated Kia Seltos 2021 that’ll arrive on 27th of April may have more features and there will be a variant rejig as well.
