Lambretta V125 | Launch date, first look and specification

This new year you may be planning to buy a new scooter for you and your family. This Lambretta V125 is about to launch in June 2023. That can be a good choice for you but before that, you should check out all the information related to this.

The Lambretta V125 is expected to be released in India in the summer within the price range of 80,000 to 90,000. There are a few similar scooters in the market like Yamaha Fascino 125, Honda Activa 125, and Suzuki Access 125. Another bike similar to the V125 is the Hero Maestro Xoom 110, which will be available in India in January 2023.

For nearly five decades, Lambretta hasn't had a new design under the V-Special series. We will be able to choose from three displacements: 50cc, 125cc, and 200cc. Two of these models are expected to reach the Indian market, with the 125 being the most likely to do so.

KISKA design firm has helped Lambretta to design and develop this V-125 model. The semi-monocoque chassis is very cool, as well as the fixed fender. The instrument panel features an LCD display with the speedo as the only analogue bit as a nod to predecessors, LED lamps, and a 12V charger. In addition to Bluetooth connectivity, the device will be able to connect to the Internet.

A luggage hook and two storage compartments will also be available for those who want this scooter for some delivery work. In comparison with the Vespa LX125, the V125 Special's engine produces 10bhp and weighs 125cc.

Disc brakes are also featured on both ends, which has never been seen on an Indian scooter before.Assuming the company can find an adequate distributor network and possibly set up assembly of its products to keep costs low, the Lambretta V125 Special is expected in 2019.
