Mahindra Scorpio N receives 5 new variants

New models of the Scorpio N line-up are priced between Rs. 12.49 lakh and Rs. 16.94 lakh (ex-showroom)

Five new Scorpio N models from Mahindra have been released, each with a number of unique features. With waiting times of up to two years for some models, the Scorpio N was one of Mahindra's biggest launches this year. The Scorpio N now has 30 different variants available as a result of the incorporation of these new variations.

Updated prices for the Mahindra Scorpio N variants

Z2 Petrol (E), Z2 Diesel (E), Z4 Petrol (E), Z4 Diesel (E), and Z4 Diesel (E) AWD are the five new Scorpio N versions. These are the entry- and mid-level Scorpio N variants with manual gearboxes intended for customers looking for a less expensive model. These variations cost between Rs. 12.49 lakh and Rs. 16.94 lakh (ex-showroom). The costs of these new variations are broken down in the following manner:

New variations for the Mahindra Scorpio N: characteristics

Hill hold assistance and electronic stability control (ESC) are included with the new Scorpio N Z2 models. These features are now available on Z4 trims with the six-speed manual gearbox as well, whereas before they were only available on Z4 automatic trims and above. On the new (E) Z2 and Z4 trims, nothing else has changed.

Powertrains for the Mahindra Scorpio N

The Scorpio N's powertrains remain unchanged; it still comes with a 203 horsepower 2.0 litre turbo-petrol engine and a 175 horsepower 2.2 horsepower turbo-diesel engine connected to either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox. Rear-wheel drive is standard on the Scorpio N, however four-wheel drive is an option for the diesel models.

Delivery information for the Mahindra Scorpio N

Since the Scorpio N's introduction, Mahindra has concentrated on providing the higher end models; only recently has it started providing the mid-level Z4 trim. Mahindra has been aiming to shorten the wait time for its SUV, but the top-spec Z8L Scorpio N may now be ordered in four months, as opposed to the previous 17 months. However, depending on the area, all other versions require a waiting period of up to 25 months.
