2023 Tata Nexon EV facelift, featuring enhanced design, advanced features, and improved powertrains. Bookings now open!

2023 Tata Nexon EV facelift bookings open

Tata is all set to unveil the facelifted version of its Nexon EV on September 14. The updated Nexon EV will be available in three main variants: Creative, Fearless, and Empowered, and will be launched alongside the standard facelifted Nexon. The new design enhancements include a closed-off grille and connected LED daytime running lights at the front.

Interior Upgrades

Inside, the Nexon EV facelift boasts a spacious cabin with notable changes such as a distinctive 2-spoke steering wheel featuring Tata's illuminated logo, fresh seat upholstery, and updated cabin themes. In terms of technology and features, the Nexon EV receives a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen, electronic parking brake, a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, a touch-based panel for AC controls, a height-adjustable co-driver seat, and a premium 9-speaker JBL sound system. Safety features have been beefed up with six airbags as standard, a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitor, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, and front and rear parking sensors.

Improved Powertrains

Under the hood, the Nexon EV will be available with two battery pack options: a 30kWh variant offering a range of 325 kilometers and a 40.5kWh option with an extended range of 465 kilometers.

Expected Pricing

While pricing details are yet to be officially revealed, it is expected that the starting price for the Nexon EV facelift will be around Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). This updated electric SUV will continue to compete in the Indian electric vehicle market, taking on rivals like the Mahindra XUV400 EV, and offering a more affordable alternative to the MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona Electric.

Booking Now Available

Additionally, it's worth noting that Tata has started accepting bookings for the Nexon EV facelift, with a booking amount of Rs 21,000, available both online and through its nationwide dealer network. The new model will also feature the ".ev" suffix, following the naming convention seen on the Tiago EV.
