Join the EV movement and reserve your spot today for a revolutionized driving experience. Don't miss out on securing your electric dream - pre-book the Kia EV6 now.
Kia, a popular South Korean automobile manufacturer, has launched the EV6, a 5-seater all-electric SUV, in India. The car can now be booked by potential buyers at their nearest Kia dealership or through the official website.
The EV6 was first announced in June 2022 and has already gained considerable attention, with 432 units sold even before its official launch in India. The vehicle is built on the innovative Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), which promises improved performance, efficiency, and range compared to traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) cars.
The EV6 comes in two trims: the GT Line and the GT Line all-wheel drive. Both trims offer exciting features such as fast charging and smart interior capabilities, making them highly attractive to car enthusiasts looking for a more modern and sustainable driving experience.
The EV6's fast charging capabilities are particularly noteworthy, as it can charge up to 80% in just 18 minutes using a 350-kW charger. Additionally, the car's smart interior features include a panoramic sunroof, a 12.3-inch touchscreen display, and an augmented reality head-up display (AR HUD) that projects information onto the windshield.
The all-electric SUV, Kia EV6, is not only a visually stunning vehicle, but it also packs a punch in terms of range and benefits. The car comes in five distinct colours, including Runway Red, Yacht Blue, Moonscape, Aurora Black Pearl, and Snow White Pearl, giving potential buyers plenty of options to choose from.
In addition to its striking appearance, the EV6 boasts an impressive ARAI-certified range of 708 kilometres on a single charge. This range is expected to appeal to buyers who want a vehicle that can go long distances without needing frequent recharging.
Furthermore, Kia India has sweetened the deal for early adopters by announcing several benefits for the first 200 customers. These benefits include a 95% buyback policy within a month, free periodic maintenance for 5 years, and an 8-year/160000-kilometre battery warranty. These offers make the EV6 an even more compelling option for buyers looking for a premium electric SUV.
Mr Myung-sik Sohn, the Chief Sales and Business Strategy Officer of Kia India, expressed his excitement about the EV6's release in the Indian market, saying "We are excited that with Kia EV6, a new performance-driven drive experience is now available for customers looking for a premium ride. I am pleased to announce that reservations for our popular premium EV, the Kia EV6, have begun for 2023."
As the demand for electric vehicles continues to surge, we've ramped up our efforts to meet the needs of our customers with an impressive expansion of our dealership network. With 60 showrooms now spanning 44 cities, we're putting ourselves within reach of EV enthusiasts across the nation.
Looking ahead, we're incredibly excited about the upcoming 2023 Kia EV6. We're confident it will not only surpass our previous sales performance but that it will triple our growth this year. It's a thrilling prospect to be leading the way in a market that's not only driving our business forward but also pushing us towards a more sustainable future.
In addition to our commitment to cutting-edge EV technology, we're also dedicated to supporting the development of EV infrastructure across the country. Our recent installation of India's first and fastest 240 kWh charger is just the beginning of our efforts to make electric vehicles more accessible and convenient for everyone.
