Furthermore, it comes equipped with a standard 4-wheel drivetrain (4WD), providing enhanced traction and control. 

The all-new model will be equipped with an impressive array of features, including a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system borrowed from the new Baleno and Brezza models. 

This advanced system boasts wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, allowing for seamless smartphone connectivity. In addition, the vehicle offers the convenience of cruise control and automatic climate control, enhancing the overall driving experience.

Honda's upcoming SUV is set to make its global debut in India on June 6, creating significant anticipation among automotive enthusiasts. The SUV, named the Elevate, will share its platform with the current generation Honda City, indicating that it will feature the same 1.5-litre powertrain available in the City. Buyers will have the option of a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT.

This marks Honda's return to the SUV segment in India since the discontinuation of the CR-V due to BS6 regulations. Although the Elevate will not offer a diesel engine, there are expectations that it will eventually incorporate the hybrid system found in the Honda City. The SUV is poised to compete with popular models such as the Creta, Grand Vitara, and Toyota Hyryder in the Indian market.

Interestingly, a recent report highlighted that the Elevate misses out on a panoramic sunroof, which is a feature available in its competitors. This distinction adds to the excitement and curiosity surrounding the SUV's overall design and features.

While specific pricing details for the Elevate are yet to be announced, industry insiders suggest that prices will likely be revealed in August, following the global debut in June. For those seeking even higher performance, the top-spec 580 4MATIC variant offers an impressive 544PS of power and 858Nm of torque.
