Upcoming SUVs Set to Challenge Hyundai Creta: 3 Models to Watch Out For

Customers have shown great enthusiasm for the midsize SUV segment, and its popularity has increased significantly in recent years. In this article, we will discuss three new midsize SUVs that are set to compete with the segment leader, the Hyundai Creta, and other similar models. These upcoming SUVs are expected to be launched in India in the near future.

Citroen C3 Aircross

The Citroen C3 Aircross is scheduled to be introduced in India either towards the end of this year or early in 2024. The design of this SUV will be influenced by the C3 hatchback, and its interior will feature a more luxurious appearance. It will compete with popular models such as the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, and is expected to have an overall length of approximately 4.2 metres. The vehicle may be equipped with a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that can generate 110 horsepower. It will be available in both five- and seven-seater configurations.

Honda Midsize SUV

Honda is set to introduce a midsize SUV, which will first be unveiled globally by mid-year before being made available for purchase in India. This SUV will share the same platform as the fifth-generation City and will draw inspiration from the design of Honda's international SUVs. It will be offered with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.5-litre powerful hybrid petrol engine.

Kia seltos facelift

According to reports, Kia is set to release the updated version of its Seltos SUV by mid-year. The new model will feature a completely redesigned exterior and an interior filled with advanced technologies like ADAS. It will also be equipped with a brand new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine capable of producing a maximum power output of 160 PS and a peak torque of 253 Nm.
