Yamaha R15 Launched in India; Available in New Color & Affordable Pricing

Yamaha, the leading sports bike maker, has finally updated its popular bike series R15 V4 with a new launch of Dark Knight Edition. The new edition looks elegant, gives sporty vibes, and seems more affordable than other variants like Racing Blue and Intensity White.

The leading bike manufacturer in India, Yamaha, has updated its R15 series with the launch of Dark Knight Edition. The bike is more affordable than the existing R15 with Racing Blue and Intensity White color options. However, the all-new Yamaha R15 is slightly more expensive than the Red paint scheme.

This new color scheme is available on other Yamaha bikes like FZ and R15 V3. The new offering features a matte black base paint and golden highlights on wheels. Similar highlights are also available in Yamaha R15’s top rival, KTM RC200, which packs golden highlights around side panels, front side, and wheels.

Nevertheless, the company has kept the mechanicals and specifications identical to previous models. It continues to get power from 155cc, a single-cylinder engine capable of producing 18.1 bhp of power and 14.2 Nm of maximum torque. The engine is coupled with a six-speed gearbox, enabling an efficient ride experience in varied road conditions. The Dark Knight Edition retains dual channel ABS, LED headlamp and tail lamp, and split seats.

Yamaha R15’s this new offering will compete with Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, KTM RC 125, KTM RC 200, and Bajaj Pulsar RS200.
