The 1.5-litre petrol engine with the Atkinson cycle is the City Hybrid's standout feature. The petrol engine provides 96 horsepower, the traction motor 107 horsepower, and the generation motor 94 horsepower. The City hybrid has a total output of 125bhp and a peak torque of 253Nm. The eCVT single-speed gearbox is connected to the motors. Honda claims a 26.5kmpl fuel efficiency for the City Hybrid.

The Honda City Hybrid differs from the normal Honda City in terms of appearance. The front and back logos have a blue border to emphasize the hybrid character of the vehicle, the fog lamp housings have a claw-like shape, and the rear has a boot spoiler and diffuser with a carbon fiber design.

The leatherette upholstery in the cabin has a dual-tone– Ivory and Black pattern. ADAS technologies such as lane keep assist, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, high beam assist, and collision mitigation braking are also available in the city. Six airbags, a lane watch camera, hill start assist, and a tyre pressure monitoring system are among the passive safety features. In terms of telematics, the Honda Connect is now Alexa and Google compatible and includes features like remote engine start, door lock/unlock, air conditioning on/off, and more.

Fantastic Car

The Honda City Hybrid is the most efficient, cleanest and complex City yet. Its 26.5kpl ARAI-tested figure means it’s even more frugal than the City diesel (that does 24.1kpl) and its 89.5gm/km CO2 emission figure is best in class too. Making these numbers possible is the complicated powertrain that comprises electric motors, a lithium-ion battery, an Atkinson cycle engine and more. I love this car so, much 👍😍👏

Good engine

The Honda city is a hybrid car that I have owned for a few years now. I absolutely love it! It's extremely efficient and has saved me a lot of money on fuel costs. The Honda city Hybrid is a great all-rounder, it's very comfortable to drive and has a surprising amount of power. The car is very quiet and also very smooth. The interior has plenty of features such as climate control, Bluetooth connectivity and cruise control, which all make driving more enjoyable.

Comfortable ride

Honda City Hybrid is little expensive. And different variants are available in the market which is less in price. Surely Hybrid rides are comfortable. The seats are of better quality with cushions and seats adjustable are there. Honda City hybrid is not value for money. In this price range, there are better option available. Compass, Nexon, Safari etc are better than hybrid. The mileage of Honda city hybrid is too good. Overall performance is good.
