Ather collaborates with Jana Bank to make their scooters easily available and to quicken the adoption of electric vehicles in India. Below are the details about this partnership.

Ather Energy declared a collaboration with Jana Bank for providing financing choices to buyers, to make their vehicles easily reachable and to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in India.

How to take advantage of loans?

Buyers can take loans but they have to do a minimum down payment of up to 5% and the tenure for the loan is flexible ranging from 12 to 48 months. Loans will also be provided to new-to-credit customers by the Jana Bank and this accounts for 20% to 25% of its total customer base. Since the business has expanded into Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, this market segment has grown crucial.

Ravneet S Phokela, Chief Business Officer, of Ather Energy, said, “With the EV industry growing at a rapid pace, the availability of multiple easy financing options has become one of the most critical aspects that will facilitate this growth.”

Loan eligibility can be checked by the customers in under ten minutes and other formalities can also be completed by visiting Ather's Experience centres and Jana Small Finance bank designated storefronts. 

Customers of Jana Small Finance bank can trade in their old two-wheelers and receive an exchange bonus of up to INR 4,000 through the company's exchange programme.
