Spies Alert: The Royal Enfield Classic 650 & Bobber 650 have been spotted.

The Royal Enfield Classic 650 and the Bobber test bikes based on the Classic 350 have been seen together recently. The new spy images of the two bikes reveal more details and here's what we learned from them.

Design and Features

The Classic 650 will have a retro design language and feature a round LED headlamp, split seat, and bulb indicators. Conversely, the Bobber has a two-piece seat, drawing inspiration from the Classic 350. Its handlebar also seems higher, due to its Bobber setup. It has a pannier on the right side, but we think Royal Enfield will only offer it as an optional accessory.

Engine and Performance

The Classic 650 will get the same 650cc engine that Royal Enfield currently uses. It's a 648cc oil-cooled, twin-cylinder engine that produces 47bhp and 52Nm. The engine will be paired with a six-speed gearbox. Royal Enfield also uses it for the Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, and Super Meteor 650. The Bobber, meanwhile, would use the existing J-series engine.

Expected Price and Launch Date

Besides LED lighting, we expect both bikes to have ABS and a semi-digital instrument console. The test bikes have conventional telescopic front forks and dual rear shocks, while the braking hardware will consist of a front and rear disc with dual-channel ABS. Both models will have spoked wheels, but we expect the brand to also offer alloys as an option from its accessory catalogue. Royal Enfield Classic 650 is expected to launch in India in early 2025 with a price tag of around Rs. 3.2 lakh (ex-showroom). The Bobber could be found some time at the end of this year and is expected to be more expensive than the top-spec model of the Classic 350.
