Okayas’ EV’s premium offering, Ferrato, has finally launched Disruptor, its most anticipated launch of early 2024. The bike is claimed to offer a running cost of ₹1 per 4 km.

Ferrato, the claimed premium brand under Okaya, has started the pre-booking for its e-bike, Disruptor, after its introduction. The pre-booking phase has started today. The e-bike is equipped with advanced and user-friendly features, making it a highly competitive two wheeler model in EV as well as ICE segment in the market.

Pre-Booking and Price Details

The bike is made available at an introductory price of Rs 1,40,499, (ex-showroom, Delhi) which is said to be increased by Rs 10,000 after EMPS (Electronic Monitoring Promotion Scheme) ends on 31st July.

The e-bike is available for pre-booking at a price of Rs 2,500. However, on its grand unveiling, the company has offered a pre-booking amount of Rs 500 for the first 1000 customers of Disruptor.

Features and Specifications

The Disruptor is powered by a high-performance PMSM motor, delivering a peak power of 6.37 kW and achieving a top speed of 95 km/h. Its impressive torque of 228 Nm ensures dynamic acceleration, while the bike offers a commendable range of 129 km on a single charge, courtesy of its 3.97 kWh battery capacity. What's truly disruptive is its operational cost, claimed to be an astonishing ₹1 per 4 km.

Previous Launch and Future Plans

Okaya EV's previous launch, the Motofaast scooter, which is priced at ₹1.37 lakh (ex-showroom), garnered attention for its innovative features. The e-scooter is equipped with a dual battery system boasting a combined capacity of 3.53 kWh and offers a top speed of 70 kmph and a remarkable riding range of up to 130 km on a single charge.

The company also announced its plan to establish premium service centres dedicated to the Ferrato sub-brand. Moreover, plans to set up over 100 dealerships for the premium brand are in progress. Which will ensure widespread accessibility and exemplary customer service.
