How to Watch the Launch of the Harley-Davidson X440, the Most Affordable Harley Ever

A new motorcycle from Harley-Davidson is ready to hit the Indian roads. The Harley-Davidson X440, a naked roadster co-developed with Hero MotoCorp, will be unveiled in India today, July 3rd, at 07:20 PM. You can watch the live launch event on Hero MotoCorp’s YouTube channel by clicking on the link above. The X440 is expected to compete with the likes of Royal Enfield Meteor 350, Jawa Perak, Yezdi Roadster, etc., and cost less than Rs 3 lakh, ex-showroom.

Engine and Performance

The X440’s engine specifications are still a mystery, but it is likely to have a 440cc, single-cylinder, air & oil-cooled engine that produces around 35 bhp and 40 Nm of torque. It will have a 6-speed transmission and a chain final drive, similar to the Pan America. The X440 will also have a long-stroke engine, as is typical of Harley products.

Features and Design

The bike will come with USD front forks and gas-charged rear shocks, disc brakes with ABS, a round LED headlamp, multi-spoke alloy wheels, and a digital instrument cluster. The X440 will sport a muscular and aggressive look, with a sculpted fuel tank, a flat seat, and a short tail section. It will also have Harley-Davidson branding on the tank and the engine cover. The bike will be available in multiple color options.
