Honda e:Ny1 Electric SUV Unveiled Globally: Know Features, Range, & Battery Capacity

Honda, one of the Japanese carmakers, recently unveiled its Honda e:Ny1 electric SUV. The launch of this electric Honda SUV happened globally. Honda said this recent launch is designed and developed using Honda’s latest e:N architecture that carries three main USPs: low center of gravity, rigid body structure, and smartly designed under-floor aerodynamics.

• Newly launched e:Ny1 is an all-electric compact SUV from Honda, a Japanese carmaker, capable of offering responsive driving and enhanced ride comfort.
• Powering from a 68.8 kWh battery paired with a single electric motor, this Honda SUV has the ability to produce 201 bhp and 310 Nm peak torque, with a maximum range of up to 412 km.
• In design, Honda compact electric SUV gets white badging, high rigidity body structure, and intelligently designed under-floor aerodynamics.

Additionally, this newly designed e:N architecture is based on front-wheel drive (FWD) technology that offers torsional rigidity and is built of high-tensile steel. Honda has kept the design of e:N1 similar to HR-V. This SUV features LED headlamps closed with a grille and bumper. There is the company’s white-themed logo along with multi-spoke alloy wheels.

Honda e:Ny1 gets a 15.1-inch vertical touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. The electric SUV also packs a three-spoke steering wheel and a multi-color lighting system. Additional features include a panoramic sunroof, a high-quality sound system, steering-mounted controls, dual zone AC, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and more.

Talking about battery capacity and range, E:Ny1 gets a 68.8 kWh lithium-ion battery mated with a single motor capable of producing 201 bhp of power and 310 Nm of maximum torque. Further, Honda has claimed this electric SUV has the potential to provide an average range of up to 412 km on a single charge. This electric battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in about 45 minutes through DC fast charging.
