Honda Elevate bookings begin on July 3rd for Rs 21,000

Honda has opened the bookings for the highly anticipated Honda Elevate mid-size SUV on July 3rd at a price of Rs 21,000. Our sources also confirmed that Honda will announce the price at the end of August or September. Elevate will be on display in galleries at the end of July and test drives are expected to begin in August.

Honda Elevate Variant Details

Dealer sources say the Elevate will be offered in four trim levels. The exact equipment is unknown, but probably city sedans - SV, V, VX and ZX. A manual transmission will be standard across the entire range, while automatic transmission will be offered in all but the base equipment.

Honda Elevate Power& Performance

Speaking of, the Elevate's power is 121bhp, 145Nm, 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine and 6-speed manual transmission or optional 7-speed CVT transmission.

The sedan's 5-litre petrol hybrid system won't come to the Elevate as it's not yet available locally and is too expensive.

Honda Elevate Design, Interior and Features Similar in size to the Creta and Seltos, Elevate's speed is 4,312mm long, 1,790mm wide, 1,650mm high and has a 2,650mm wheelbase.

It also has a class-leading 220 mm ground clearance. The design has always been Honda inspired by international brands like the CR-V and WR-V, and while it has all the elements of SUV styling, some might describe it as conservative.

Elevate's Interior Quality

The cabin is very pleasant, with soft-touch panels and comfortable, wide seats. It's also packed with features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen, 7.5-inch digital instrument cluster, rear-view camera, wireless charging, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, and Honda's ADAS package with the collision-reducing braking system. , lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control and more. However, it only comes with a single solar panel, although the panoramic sunroof has become standard in this segment.

Honda Elevate Competitors

After launch, Elevate will compete with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder and the upcoming Citroen C3 Aircross competition. Given that all players have a significant share of the midsize SUV market, Honda's Elevate price will depend on how much Honda produces.
