Honda Elevate will launch in September | Production begins today

Honda Elevate: The New Midsize SUV

Honda Cars India (HCIL) has recently commenced the production of its much-anticipated midsize SUV, the Honda Elevate, at its manufacturing facility in Tapukara, Rajasthan. With more than 90% localisation, the automaker aims to offer the SUV at an attractive price point when it hits the Indian market in September, just in time for the festive season.

A Global SUV Made in India

The Honda Elevate holds the distinction of being the brand's global SUV, entirely manufactured in India. While the official launch is scheduled for September, deliveries are expected to commence in the same month. Pre-launch bookings have already begun across the country, generating considerable interest in the automotive community, thanks to its striking masculine design.

Man Maximum Machine Minimum Design Ethos

Staying true to Honda's design philosophy of "Man Maximum Machine Minimum," the Elevate boasts an incredibly spacious interior, providing ample headroom, knee room, legroom, and a generous 458 litres of cargo space. The SUV's bold and masculine exterior, featuring a flat front profile, exudes a commanding road presence.

A Plethora of Exterior Colour Options

The Honda Elevate offers customers an array of exterior colour choices, including both single-tone and dual-tone options. From Phoenix Orange Pearl to Meteoroid Gray Metallic, buyers can choose from a wide range of shades to suit their preferences.

Under the Hood: Powerful Performance

Powering the Honda Elevate is a 1.5-litre iVTEC DOHC petrol engine, which offers two transmission choices: a six-speed manual gearbox and a CVT. This capable engine delivers a power output of 119 bhp and a maximum torque of 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm.

A Significant Milestone for Honda

Takuya Tsumura, President and CEO of Honda Cars India Ltd., expressed his excitement about the commencement of SUV production, calling it a significant milestone for the company. He noted that the Honda Elevate has already received an overwhelming response from eager customers all over India.

As the highly-anticipated launch date approaches, automotive enthusiasts and prospective buyers eagerly await the arrival of the Honda Elevate, anticipating a new contender in the competitive midsize SUV segment. With its localised production and captivating design, the Elevate is set to make its mark in the Indian market and beyond.
