Hyundai Exter Rear Design Fully Revealed; Official Launch on July 10

Hyundai Motor India has released a fresh teaser showcasing the rear profile of the upcoming Hyundai Exter, officially launching in India on July 10, 2023. For a long time, the automaker has been releasing a teaser of this upcoming compact SUV, and now, this latest teaser aims to give a detailed overview of the rear profile of Exter.

Hyundai Exter Rear Design Fully Revealed

The teaser image shows that the upcoming Hyundai compact SUV gets H-shaped LED tail lamps. A black strip and a Hyundai logo at the center connect the taillamps. The rear profile looks similar to the grille, and H-patter LED DRLs fitted at the front side. There is a massive silver skid plate on the bumper that gives a rugged look and feel from the rear side. The automaker has also placed the rear reflector within the cladding. Additionally, the SUV features a boxy design language and a dual-tone paint scheme, as shown in the previous teasers.

Hyundai Exter Powertrain & Variants

Hyundai Exter will be launched in two powertrain options - a 1.2-liter Kappa petrol engine (E20-fuel read) and a 1.2-liter Kappa petrol with CNG engine. Both five-speed manual and automatic transmissions will be offered in this upcoming SUV. Hyundai Exter is expected to be launched in five variants: EX, S, SX, SX (O), and SX (O) Connect.

Hyundai Exter Safety Features

Exter will get six airbags, ESC, hill assist, a 3-point seat belt, keyless entry, and an ABS with EBD. Hyundai can also offer rear parking sensors, burglar alarms, dashcams with dual cameras, and a 2.31-inch display. Further, the company has announced plans to offer electronic sunroofs in top-spec variants of the Hyundai Exter.

Hyundai Exter Expected Ex-Showroom Price

The ex-showroom price of the Hyundai Exter SUV can start from Rs 6 lakh. Once launched, Exter will compete with Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Tata Punch, and Citroen C3.
