This new variant will come exclusively with a manual transmission, catering to driving enthusiasts who prefer a more engaging driving experience.

Hyundai, one of the leading automakers in the country, is all set to expand its popular Venue lineup with the introduction of a new variant - the E (O) model. This move comes just over a year after the facelift version of the Venue was launched in June last year, followed by the N Line variant in August 2022.
The decision to introduce this new variant is likely driven by market feedback and competition from rival offerings, showcasing Hyundai's commitment to providing a wide range of choices to customers.
The main objective behind the introduction of the E (O) variant seems to be bridging the price gap between the existing E and S variants of the Venue. By doing so, Hyundai aims to strike a perfect balance between affordability and a comprehensive equipment list.
With the addition of the E (O) variant, the Hyundai Venue lineup will boast a total of six variants, namely E, S, S+ /S (O), SX, SX (O), and the newly introduced E (O).
it will be equipped with the tried-and-tested 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. This powertrain generates a respectable output of 83 PS of maximum power and 113.8 Nm of peak torque, which will be transmitted through a 5-speed manual transmission. In terms of emission compliance, this engine adheres to the BS6 OBD-I and OBD Stage II norms.
The Hyundai Venue lineup already boasts a diverse range of engine options, and the addition of the E (O) variant will further enhance the choices available to customers. The existing lineup includes a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine producing 120 PS and 172 Nm, offered with an intelligent manual transmission (iMT) and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). Additionally, there's a 1.5-litre diesel engine delivering 116 PS and 250 Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Moving on to the equipment list, the new E (O) variant is expected to offer several additional features compared to the base E variant. For instance, customers may have the option to equip their Venue with a roof rack and a shark fin antenna, enhancing both practicality and aesthetics.
Stepping inside, the new Venue E (O) variant could come equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, offering support for multiple regional languages. It is likely to feature wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for seamless smartphone integration, ensuring an enhanced driving experience.
Entertainment will be further amplified by front and rear speakers and a front tweeter. The steering wheel will be equipped with audio and Bluetooth controls, providing convenient access to these functions while on the move.
Moreover, the new variant might offer optional features such as rear power windows, electrically adjustable ORVMs, rear AC vents, a front centre armrest with storage, a rear USB charger (Type-C), and an idle stop and go (ISG) system.
When it comes to safety, the optional features could include a brake assist system, automatic headlamps, a headlamp escort function, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and a rear defogger with a timer.
It's worth noting that the Hyundai Venue already comes loaded with a comprehensive set of standard safety features. These include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), vehicle stability management (VSM), rear parking sensors, a day and night inside rear-view mirror, central locking, impact sensing auto door lock, seatbelt reminder for all seats, and 3-point seatbelts for all passengers.
Hyundai introduce the highly anticipated E (O) variant to its popular Venue lineup. Priced at approximately Rs 8.20 lakh, this new variant aims to strike a perfect balance between affordability and a comprehensive feature set.
As a point of reference, the current base E variant of the Venue starts at ₹ 7.72 lakh, while the range-topping SX (O) Turbo DCT Dual Tone variant commands a price of ₹ 13.18 lakh. With its competitive pricing, the new Venue E (O) variant is set to offer customers a compelling option in the subcompact SUV segment.
