ENGINE

A new turbo-petrol motor was added to the Hyundai Alcazar for MY23, updating its characteristics and powerplants, The 1.5-litre engine, which produces 158 bhp and 253 nm of torque, takes the place of the 2.0-litre engine. A six-speed manual transmission and a seven-speed DCT transmission are mated to this BS6 phase-2 and RDE-compliant motor.

SAFETY FEATURES

The 2023 Alcazar gained new safety features in addition to the new motor, including six airbags, ESC, VSM, HAC, rear disc brakes, and height-adjustable seat belts. And for some additional features, it gets a new puddle lamp with an alcazar emblem and a new grille and it comes with a start-stop button.

NEW PRICE

The Hyundai Alcazar’s cost for the petrol variant now ranges from 16.10 lakhs to Rs 20.25 lakh following the model year upgrade. In a similar vein, diesel models range in price from Rs 16.71 lakh to Rs 21.10 lakh all prices, ex-showroom.
