Get ready to hit the road with Jeep's latest launch - the Affordable Compass 4X2 Automatic priced at just ₹ 23.99 lakh.

Jeep India has just rolled out an exciting addition to its Compass lineup with the introduction of the Compass 4X2 Automatic. This new variant is designed to provide drivers with the convenience of an automatic transmission at a more affordable price point. Let's dive into the details of this exciting development.
Affordable Automatic Transmission
Jeep India is making driving an automatic SUV more accessible to Indian consumers. The Compass 4X2 Automatic starts at just Rs. 23.99 lakh (ex-showroom), making it significantly more affordable. Jeep claims that this move results in savings of up to Rs. 6 lakh (ex-showroom) for buyers, catering to evolving market demands.
Shedding Off-Road Hardware
To achieve this attractive price point, Jeep India has removed the 4X4 off-road hardware that was previously standard with 9-speed automatic transmission variants. This adjustment not only reduces costs but also benefits the vehicle's weight, enhancing drivability and acceleration. The Jeep Compass now offers a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 9.8 seconds.
A Variety of Choices
The 2024 Jeep Compass offers buyers a wide range of choices. There are six striking colour options to choose from, including Pearl White, Diamond Black, Techno Metallic Green, Exotica Red, Grigio Magnesio Grey, Minimal Grey, and Galaxy Blue. Prices for the 2024 Jeep Compass start from Rs. 20.49 lakh, and the automatic range begins at Rs. 23.99 lakh (both prices ex-showroom).
Impressive Features
The Compass is now available in five trim levels: Sport, Longitude, Limited, Black Shark, and Model S. All of these trims are powered by a 2.0L MultiJet turbo diesel engine that delivers 170 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. The new Black Shark trim is particularly noteworthy, boasting a range of styling elements, including blacked-out features and unique Ignite Red highlights in the interior.
Safety and Technology
Jeep Compass variants come with up to 60 standard safety features, including ABS, EBD, ESC, brake assist, hill start assist, and more. The Compass Black Shark, based on a Limited trim, offers impressive features like full LED reflector headlights, a panoramic sunroof, a 10.1-inch TFT touchscreen infotainment screen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a semi-digital instrument cluster, and much more.
A Jeep for Everyone
Aditya Jairaj, Head of Jeep India Operations and Deputy Managing Director, Stellantis India, shared his excitement about the new Jeep Compass range, stating, "The all-new Compass with 4X2 9AT caters to the aspirations of customers who always wanted a Jeep vehicle, treating them with several best-in-class offerings packed at a much more accessible price point."
With the introduction of the Compass 4X2 Automatic, Jeep India is expanding its offerings, providing a formidable choice of SUVs for discerning Indian customers, all while making the brand's signature features more accessible than ever.
