The Dragster RR SCS America Special Edition: A Rare and Exclusive Bike from MV Agusta

MV Agusta is a high-end motorcycle manufacturer that was founded in 1945 by Count Domenico Agusta as a branch of the Agusta aircraft company. The company has a long and successful history in racing, winning multiple world championships and producing legendary riders.

One of the most iconic models of MV Agusta is the 750S America, a four-cylinder sports bike that was launched in 1975. The bike was designed for the American market and featured a distinctive blue color scheme with red and white stripes.

The Special Edition: The Dragster RR SCS America

To honor the legacy of the 750S America, MV Agusta has unveiled the Dragster RR SCS America Special Edition in international markets. The bike is based on the standard Dragster RR SCS, but with a special paint job inspired by the classic model. It also has a red seat to add more contrast and flair.

The only technical difference from the regular Dragster is the carbon-fiber cover on the rear wheel, which adds a touch of exclusivity and style.

The Specifications: A Powerful and Innovative Machine

The Dragster RR SCS America Special Edition is powered by a 798cc triple engine that delivers 140bhp and 87Nm of torque. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox and MV's SCS (Smart Clutch System), which is a hydraulic automatic clutch that allows the rider to choose between manual or automatic mode.

The bike also has a sophisticated suspension system, with Marzocchi fully adjustable front forks and Sachs fully adjustable rear monoshock. The braking system is provided by Brembo, with radial four-piston calipers and 320mm floating discs at the front, and a two-piston caliper and 220mm disc at the rear. The bike also features Continental ABS for safety and stability.

The Availability: A Limited and Exclusive Offer

The Dragster RR SCS America Special Edition is not for everyone, as only 300 units will be made for the whole world. Each bike will have a numbered plaque on the steering head to certify its uniqueness.

However, Indian fans of MV Agusta will have to wait for a long time to get their hands on this bike, as the company has stopped its operations in India a few years ago due to low sales and lack of dealerships.
