Nissan India To Hire 1,000+ Employees To Meet The Demand For Magnite

Japanese car manufacturing company Nissan India said in a press statement that it is planning to expand to third shift and hire over 1,000 people in its plant to increase the production of Magnite and reduce its waiting period of two to three months.

To keep the customers excited for a longer time, the company has planned to continue to offer the car at the introductory price of all its variants.

Japanese car manufacturing company Nissan India said in a press statement that it is planning to expand to third shift and hire over 1,000 people in its plant to increase the production of Magnite and reduce its waiting period of two to three months. It further stated that Nissan Magnite is a compact SUV, that is being called the most successful car launched by the company in India so far, as 32,800-plus bookings have been made and 1,80,000-plus enquiries have been done since its launch on December 2, 2020.

Ashwani Gupta, the COO of Nissan Motor said that the company is happy to reinforce its industrial strategy with a third shift to meet the increasing demand of the customers. The brand hopes to continue its contribution to the industrial and the manufacturing sector of the country and help in increasing more job opportunities during this period of unemployment.

Sinan Ozkok, the president of Nissan Motor India, said that the brand is striving to improve customer satisfaction by reducing the waiting period of two to three months. In order to achieve this, an additional workforce is required, which in turn requires additional employment to increase production capacity, as well as, the delivery capacity. He further said that the company is hiring more than 1,000 people in the manufacturing plant, and they have reinforced their dealer network as well.

Commenting on this, Rakesh Srivastava, the managing director of Nissan Motor India said that the company has achieved a new milestone with the launch of the all-new Nissan Magnite. After hearing the overwhelming responses from the customers and a record level of bookings, as the token of appreciation, Nissan India would like to continue the special introductory price for Magnite till further notice.
